What's Changing for 2025

Stay well with Segal 2025 Benefit Enhancements

Our comprehensive health and wellness benefit programs will include the following enhancements effective January 1, 2025:

  • Lyra Health (available to all employees and their family members) will provide enhanced mental health coaching, therapy and other services in addition to traditional EAP work-life services including legal services, financial consultations, and child and eldercare referrals.
  • Hinge Health (available to eligible Aetna HDHP and Aetna PPO members) is adding a new Women’s Pelvic Health program to support women at all stages of life – from early adulthood to after menopause - providing clinical care for the full continuum of pelvic floor disorders with a personalized care plan that addresses unique symptoms and life stage. The program will support pelvic strength, bladder control, pregnancy/postpartum and pelvic pain.
  • While Guardian dental coverage for implants and implant abutments is still subject to an in-network only calendar year maximum of $1,500, all other in-network implant related services will no longer fall under the same $1,500 max and instead will be subject to the separate $5,000 in-network benefit calendar year maximum.
  • Beginning in 2025, WEX will process 2025 and later Everyday Well-being claims for U.S. employees. Detailed instructions are on the 2025 benefits microsite. (Claims for 2024 with a submission deadline of March 31, 2025 must still be submitted to HR Benefits).

Additional Benefit Changes

  • HSA contribution limits: The maximum pretax contribution is increasing to $4,300 if you have individual coverage and $8,550 if you have employee plus one or employee plus family coverage. If you’re age 55 or older in 2025, you can make an additional $1,000 pretax catch-up contribution.
  • FSA contribution limits: The Health Care Flexible Spending Account annual limit is $3,200, with the ability to roll over up to 20% of unused funds from one year to the next. The Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account limit will remain at $5,000.
  • Effective November 1, 2024, The Hartford will no longer provide conversion of group long-term disability coverage upon termination. This change is based on regulatory requirements applicable to the coverage.
  • In 2025 the Everyday Well-being program will no longer cover smoking cessation submissions. Smoking cessation benefits are available through your health benefits generally as preventive services.
